Finger Prints
Screen print series. This project started as a follow-up to an exercise that made me focus on the expressive qualities that are to be found in a series of fingerprints. After a selection of the best shapes, those have been scaled and printed in many different combinations of colors. It is by this operation that fingerprints, a common mark unconsciously left on one’s clothes during the printing process or simply as a way to test color, gain a new status as the effective subject of the prints.
